On July 3, 2026, Terrain360 rode 35.7 miles of the Katy Trail in 360°, from Rocheport to North Jefferson, the section a community poll chose and the Missouri DNR Director’s Office approved. The map went live on July 22, bikethekaty.com on July 29, and the full rider’s guide on August 24, with every stop, local places to eat and stay, and a trip planner.
Status, October 2026: the Partnership for the National Trails System has confirmed funding through the Lewis and Clark Trust, and Magnificent Missouri is working on the rest. If it comes together in time, the rest of the Katy is captured the week of October 25, 2026; otherwise in late April or mid May 2027.
